Shoosmiths trainee salaries are set in accordance with extensive market research. The 2016 salary for first year trainees in England is £27,000 rising to £28,000 in the second year. The 2016 salary for first year trainees in Scotland is £20,500 rising to £23,500 in the second year.
If you secure a Training Contract with us, we will be happy to offer you financial assistance in relation to your future GDL and/or LPC (or Scottish Diploma of Professional Legal Practice) and a living allowance up to a maximum of £26,000.
