Sharon is a family solicitor, based in our London office. She has worked with Juliette Peters for many years.

She specialises in resolving the financial matters which arise when relationships break down, whether this is in the context of a divorce, civil partnership dissolution or in the case of unmarried couples. This often involves an international element and Sharon has had to engage the services of forensic accountants and tax advisors many times on behalf of her clients. She can also advise on varying existing financial orders.

Sharon regularly drafts prenuptial and postnuptial agreements for clients and will gladly advise on the merits of such agreements.

Sharon’s other speciality is private law children matters. She helps parents to resolve issues, such as where children will live following their parents’ separation. Sharon has successfully acted for a number of international clients who want to take their children to live abroad (or keep their children in this jurisdiction). As well as child relocation disputes, Sharon can assist with cases where a child has been abducted by a parent. She can also advise on applications for parental rights, such as Parental Responsibility.

Clients warm to Sharon, due to her ability to empathise with their position and, at the same time, provide practical and sensible advice. Sharon will try to avoid entering into court proceedings where possible and will always try to promote alternative methods of resolving disputes where appropriate. While her preferred approach is conciliatory, she recognises that some cases will require a tougher style.

Sharon is happy to have an initial conversation to discuss your situation and see whether she can help. She is able to meet with clients in the West End if this is preferred.
