Shoosmiths among top five most dynamic law firms

Shoosmiths is among the top five most progressive and dynamic law firms in the UK.

The national firm has been ranked fourth in the Top Legal Employers United Kingdom 2009.

It was one of 60 law firms assessed across seven categories, finishing top in two of them: People: Company, Culture and Style, scoring 100%; and Diversity, with 78.79%. In Innovation it came second, scoring 95.59%.

The other categories were Pay and Benefits, Promotion and Development, Training, and Corporate Social Responsibility.  

Shoosmiths, which has seven offices and employs more than 1,500 people, was in the top 10 in all but one of them. Its overall score was 78.03%.

Top Legal Employers United Kingdom 2009 is researched independently by publishers Sweet & Maxwell and CRF. It is distributed to lawyers, law students, legal support staff, corporations and in-house counsel.

It is Shoosmiths’ second survey success of 2008. For the third year running it scored highest overall for lawyer satisfaction in a survey of top 50 UK law firms conducted by Legal Week Intelligence.
