Shoosmiths in Shelter's good books
12 April 2010
Three Shoosmiths employment law specialists have teamed-up as joint authors of a new publication to raise money for homelessness charity Shelter.
Drafting Service Agreements has been written by partner Eugene Wojciechowski, professional support lawyer Katy Meves, and solicitor Jennifer Featherstone. They have agreed to donate all royalties to Shelter, which are estimated to exceed £10,000.
Published by Bloomsbury Professional and nominated as its ‘Book of the Month’, Drafting Service Agreements is a practical and authoritative guide to the negotiation and preparation of service agreements for senior employees.
It also examines bonus structures, TUPE 2006, terminating employment contracts, and consultancy agreements.
Co-author and editor Wojciechowski, who is based at the national law firm’s Reading office, said: “We’ve aimed at providing a very practical and commercially focused guide to the preparation of service agreements with the inclusion of a wide variety of precedents and sample clauses and we’re confident that those reading the book will find it extremely useful.”
Copies can be ordered at www.tottelpublishing.com, where a sample chapter is available to read.
Shelter, which helps thousands of homeless people every year, is Shoosmiths’ national charity for 2008-10.
