Shoosmiths has continued to drive forward development of its national employment team with the appointment of a new senior associate in its Edinburgh office.
The national law firm has hired Kenny Scott who brings with him extensive expertise and specific experience of advising clients in a number of sectors including: regulatory and compliance, education, sports governance, retail, food and drink and manufacturing.
Joining from McClure Naismith, Kenny is praised by clients for his "knowledge and responsiveness" and was named as "Associate to Watch" in the Legal Directory Chambers 2014.
Kenny specialises in handling senior terminations, corporate support including TUPE and complex restructuring and insolvency matters and the design and delivery of bespoke client training on issues such as equal opportunities training for managers and dealing with capability and absence issues.
Kenny also regularly advises on the full spectrum of day to day employment matters ranging from providing practical advice on handling disciplinary and grievance issues to planning and implementing restructuring and redundancy projects.
He is also an experienced litigator who regularly appears on behalf of clients at Employment Tribunals where he has accumulated an enviable track record of success.
