Shoosmiths has won Legal Week's Law Student Report Best Graduate Employer 2014, complimenting previous award wins of Employee Satisfaction Report Best Legal Employer 2013 and Client Satisfaction Report Best Legal Advisor 2013.
The firm was also named Top Law Firm (small intake) by TheJobCrowd in The Top Companies to Work For in 2013/14, graduate employer rankings based entirely on thousands of reviews written on TheJobCrowd.com by employees in their first 3 years of work.
Shoosmiths also won Best Trainer - National/Large Regional Firm at the 2014 LawCareers.Net Training and Recruitment Awards. These awards recognise the best recruiters and trainers among law firms and are the result of an extensive yearly survey of trainee and newly qualified solicitors.
Samantha Hope, Shoosmiths' graduate recruitment manager, commented: 'Every year, we work tirelessly to ensure we attract the best graduates from universities across the UK. We recognise that people spend a large proportion of their lives at work, so staff satisfaction, as a whole, ranks highly on our list of priorities.
'We are grateful to have been recognised and awarded by these institutions, and is a pat on the back from our new recruits who, we are pleased to hear, feel well trained and mentored and receiving the support needed to fulfil their ambitions.'
A Shoosmiths trainee commented on the graduate programme: 'My training contract far exceeded my expectations. I was given much more client contact than I anticipated and an excellent level of responsibility.'
These results follow the success of 2013 when Shoosmiths collected awards which included Best Trainer - National/Large Regional Firm 2013 by LawCareers.net and Top Law Firm 2013 by The Job Crowd.
