The win comes hot on the heels of the firm winning 'Motor Finance - Legal Provider of the Year' for the second year running at the Motor Finance Awards 2016.
The team beat law firms such as Gowling WLG, Gateley, Addleshaw Goddard and Brodies to win the accolade at the ceremony, which was held on 9th June at Solihull's St John's Hotel.
The Car Finance Awards recognises the achievements of those companies and individuals driving success in car finance, one of the most buoyant segments of financial services. All winners were selected by an independent judging panel and host publication Credit Strategy's editorial team members.
Shoosmiths was represented by Shoosmiths partners Mel Chell, Roger Potgieter and recent lateral hires, Karen Savage and Paula Swain.
Shoosmiths' Mel Chell, commented on the win: 'It is an honour for us to have won this award at this year's Car Finance Awards.
'To be recognised at not only the Car Finance Awards but also at the Motor Finance Awards this year in addition to our hat trick of awards last year, speaks volumes about the capabilities of our team and how we always endeavour to place our clients at the heart of what we do.
'As such, Shoosmiths has continued its growth strategy with the clear aim of remaining a leading motor finance team in the UK. This is evidenced most recently by the appointment of two new partner hires - Karen and Paula - to bolster our team and cement our position in the market.'
