National law firm Shoosmiths has scooped the award for Legal Team of the Year at this year's CICM (Chartered Institute of Credit Management) British Credit Awards.
Shoosmiths' national commercial recoveries team was recognised for the high quality of service it has provided to its commercial clients, and its innovative and alternative service offering.

Shoosmiths won the award against strong competition from national rivals including DWF, Shulmans and Blaser Mills.
The judging panel, featuring high-profile individuals including Lesley Batchelor OBE, director general of the Institute of Export (IOE), and Sean Fest, director of Gravity London, commented: "Shoosmiths was a clear winner.
