National law firm Shoosmiths has achieved top tier rankings in 29 practice areas in this year's The Legal 500 directory, with a further 72 practice areas recommended.
Top tier rankings are up by 11% year on year, with 26% of the firm's submissions recording a rise up the tables.
In addition to this, 16 partners of the firm are listed in the publication's elite "leading individuals" list, with a further 141 lawyers being recommended.
The results of The Legal 500 2015 reinforce the firms' reputation as a leading national law firm with specialist expertise in all aspects of corporate, commercial, real estate, recovery services and private client law.
Shoosmiths has been commended in the directory for being 'a go-to firm on any issue', providing 'commercial and pragmatic answers to concerns' and its South East corporate team is described as 'a quality alternative to the City firms'.
The Legal 500 rankings are an important third-party reference guide to the legal sector across the country. Its thorough research of all law firms means it is trusted and used by fellow legal practitioners such as General Counsel (GC) of many of the top FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, journalists, students and the wider business community.
Shoosmiths has an extensive client base advising many household name, blue chip companies, leading financial institutions, public and private sector organisations and foreign-owned corporates across the country and, increasingly, internationally too.
Shoosmiths' CEO, Claire Rowe, said: 'The Legal 500 directory is an independent guide to the best performing law firms in the UK and we are pleased to once again be recognised for the importance we place on providing specialist and innovative legal services to our clients.
'The directory results reflect another great year for Shoosmiths and we are proud that so many of our lawyers have been individually recognised in the directories for their achievements. Our growth strategy combined with their dedication and hard work is driving us closer towards our ambition to become the national law firm of choice.'
