The Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Departments are a real powerhouse within Shoosmiths. Over the last twenty years we've become an acknowledged leader in our field, with our success based on two things: our progressive and inclusive working culture, and our use of cutting-edge information and communications technology.
We concentrate on personal injury claims made by individual claimants, and handle more than 50,000 claims a year in the following areas of law:
- Personal injury and other compensation as a result of motor accidents
- Personal injury arising from other (non-motor) accidents, eg employer's liability, public liability and medical negligence
- Landlord & tenant and other property- related matters
- Employment disputes: eg unfair dismissal, race, sex and age discrimination
