Litigation Administrator – Mortgage Recoveries

This new opportunity would see the successful candidate involved in general administrative duties conducting litigation on behalf of clients of the Lender Services Practice Group.
The work is with the highly successful Mortgage Recoveries litigation team.
To succeed in this role you will be competent in dealing with clients, their customers, solicitors and County Court staff by telephone and in correspondence.
The position will ideally suit someone with a legal background; mortgage recoveries experience would be a distinct advantage. The successful applicant should have knowledge of County Court procedures and be educated to ILEX / Degree standard.
You will need good written and oral communication skills and be computer-literate. You will also need to enjoy working as part of a team and will also need to be adaptable and to fit in with the requirements of clients which may change from time to time.
The ability to organise your day and to prioritise work independently is essential. You will need to appreciate that you are representing Shoosmiths in a partially client-facing role.
