We are now looking for a Case Handler to join the defended Asset Finance Litigation team based in Northampton, handling recoveries and related litigation nationally for leading asset and motor finance companies.
The successful candidate will be:
• Assisting the partner and solicitors in the team with contested asset and motor finance litigation.
• Dealing with defended actions up to and including to trial and small claims hearings, to include:
• Advising clients on the merits of a defence
• Making summary judgment applications
• Disclosure
• Reviewing available evidence
• Drafting witness statements
• Instructing counsel
• Dealing with applications to set aside judgment and to suspend warrants
• Providing advice to members of the undefended litigation team with issues arising on their claims
To be considered for this great opportunity you should be:
• Team player, outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic about client service and business development
• Previous litigation experience
• Ability to work on own initiative, but with partners and solicitors fully supportive, providing all training and supervision required
