Shoosmiths part of coveted £35m deal success

Shoosmiths corporate specialists have helped ensure the success of the £35m buyout of software producer Amtech.
The Milton Keynes-based company was acquired via a secondary buyout backed by Primary Capital.Shoosmiths partners Sean Wright and Sanjeev Sharma provided legal advice to Amtech’s management team, which now intends to go on and grow the business further.
Amtech provides software and data services for the electrical and mechanical building services industry.
Sharma, based at the national law firm’s Milton Keynes office, said: “Here was a deal that a lot of advisers wanted to be involved in, and the fact we were among those selected to work on it helps highlight our private equity expertise.”
