Collections
Our national collections team deals exclusively with the recovery of finance debt. We are distinguished as one of only a few law firms to have a dedicated collections team, staffed and managed by career collectors. The team's approach is one of pro-active negotiation, while protecting both our clients' and our own reputation in the market.
The collections team are highly trained and the expertise we provide to clients includes:
- Specialist knowledge of finance companies' needs and collection targets
- Strong negotiation skills for extracting settlements and/or regular monthly payments
- Strong collection techniques and a highly successful letter strategy that can be adapted to suit clients' requirements
- The ability to collect at all stages, be it early collections, before write off or shortfall collections
- Due diligence on purchase and sale of portfolios
- Dealer commission
- Rehabilitation on mortgage arrears
