Trading standards
As with all areas that come within the sphere of "regulation", your organisation will be keen to avoid falling foul of trading standards legislation.
Prevention is better than cure and we can provide pro-active training and advice. However, should the worst happen we have experience and expertise in helping you deal with the regulatory authorities.
Our team can advise you on trade descriptions, under-age sales, advertisement disputes, sale of goods, weights and measures, property misdescription and other consumer law issues.
We provide a helpline support system for trading standards issues for some of our clients and can help you manage communications with regulators.
We offer training, safety and risk assessment audits, representation at interviews and or Court, running defence or mitigation cases and appeals relating to fines or improvement / prohibition notices.
