Corporate issues
We care about you and your business – and we care about your deal.
There’s a real sense that our corporate lawyers are on your side – that’s why directors and shareholders like working with us and why so many accountants and venture capitalists refer their clients to us. You’ll find that we take responsibility for making the deal happen. Our team will lead you through the deal, speaking your language and putting your commercial interests first.
Drawing on our experience of advising companies in many different industry sectors, our lawyers have a successful track record advising companies through the business life cycle, from start up and first round finance through to mergers and acquisitions, buy-outs, development funding, flotation (AIM and full list) and other exits. We specialise in the mid-market, typically advising on transactions with a value of up to £100 million.
Like many of our clients, once the deal’s done you’ll probably want to stick with us for ongoing advice on corporate restructuring, capital reductions, shareholder agreements and joint ventures. Our corporate team is superbly supported by a cast of lawyers advising on tax, employment and pensions, commercial property and environmental, intellectual property, commercial and competition law issues.
