Shoosmiths trainee salaries are set in accordance with extensive market research. The 2019 salary for first year trainees in London is £38,000, rising to £39,000 for trainees in their second year; £27,000 -£28,000 in the regions, and £25,000 - £26,000 for trainees in Edinburgh.

If you secure a Training Contract with us, we will be happy to offer you financial assistance in relation to your future GDL and/or LPC (or Scottish Diploma of Professional Legal Practice) and a living allowance up to a maximum of £26,000.
