Charlotte is responsible for keeping the firm's real estate lawyers up to date with changes in law and practice. She also writes and edits legal updates and articles for publication, delivers training and produces training materials, drafts and updates precedent materials, and produces legal know-how.
Her role demands an uncompromising standard of legal excellence which she combines with approachability and an sound understanding of the commercial realities which need to be addressed in any transactional context.
Charlotte has extensive experience as a transactional lawyer across a broad range of real estate disciplines and she has a particular interest in commercial landlord and tenant law.
She is an active member of the Association of Property Support Lawyers and a member of the Consultant Editorial Board of LexisPSL Property.
Charlotte joined Shoosmiths on qualification where she worked as a transactional lawyer for 7 years. She then joined Nabarro as a professional support lawyer and rejoined Shoosmiths, in her current role, in 2004.
