Christopher joined Shoosmiths in May 2016 as a Solicitor in our Wealth Protection department, based in our Solent office.
Christopher has a broad range of experience as a Wealth Protection specialist. He works with lottery winners, business owners, and other high net worth individuals to provide Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and lifetime and post-death tax planning.
Christopher advises regarding the administration of estates with a contentious element, and also estates comprised of business and foreign assets. He also advises regarding the creation and administration of trusts and provides advice to trustees.
Christopher read Law at the University of Sussex, graduating with a 2:1 Honours in 2009. He volunteered for the Citizens Advice Bureau for three years during his studies and qualified as Generalist Advisor in 2010. In 2012, Christopher completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London, achieving a Distinction.
Outside of work, Christopher is a keen runner and is passionate about charitable work. He ran the London Marathon in 2011, raising over £1,250 for the British Heart Foundation, and then again in 2015, raising over £2,000 for St Michael’s Hospice in Hampshire. Christopher is a member of the office Charity Committee and regularly takes part in Pro Bono work.
