Danielle is a Senior Associate and Head of the Employment team in the Manchester office.
Danielle has experience of acting for a range of clients in relation to contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Danielle advises on the full breadth of employment law issues, including disciplinaries and grievances, long-term absence and disability, restructuring, TUPE and business re-organisations. She regularly advises clients in relation to executive exits and assists in preparing and negotiating settlement agreements. Danielle supports clients in relation to drafting employment agreements and policies and ensuring compliance with all aspects of employment legislation. Danielle is also an experienced litigator, regularly handling complex and high-value unfair dismissal, discrimination and other claims in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal. She routinely provides client training, both through public-courses and in house, and is a regular speaker at employment law seminars and discussion groups.
Danielle takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to employment law issues, whether in relation to strategic projects or day to day advice. Danielle has been described by the Legal 500 as ‘adept at analysing the risks and dealing with them’. She takes time to understand clients’ business objectives and applies her technical knowledge accordingly, delivering advice in a straightforward and down to earth manner.
