Harriet is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Litigation team in Milton Keynes. She advises on a broad range of commercial disputes principally involving High Court proceedings and arbitration. Harriet is experienced in using a variety of alternative dispute resolution techniques and regularly handles high value claims for domestic and overseas clients. She also has specific experience in defamation and privacy.

- Multi-jurisdictional disputes acting both for and against foreign parties

Recent experience includes: successfully settling a substantial, multi-party professional negligence claim against a law firm, advising a high net worth individual on enforcing an English injunction against persons unknown in the United States and acting for a major European Football Club in a dispute with an English finance company.
Harriet studied languages and music and spent time working in France and Italy before studying law. She trained and qualified into commercial litigation at Nabarro LLP in 2004 and subsequently moved to niche libel and privacy practice, Schillings. Harriet joined Shoosmiths in May 2012.
