Helen is a real estate lawyer who advises on all aspects of commercial property including acquisitions, disposals, lettings, developments and financings. She also has experience in business disposals and acquisitions and the property aspects of insolvency work. Helen acts for developers, investors, landlords, tenants and administrators principally in the retail, licensed and leisure sectors.
Her recent experience includes advising and assisting:
- Marston's Plc on a £110m innovative sale and leaseback transaction of 45 public houses;
- on the business sale of two public houses;
- an investor on an £80m refinancing transaction;
- a large property administrator on the management and disposal of various properties.
Helen joined Shoosmiths as a newly qualified solicitor in September 2012, after completing her training at Lupton Fawcett.
She is also on Shoosmiths' charity committee with the aim of organising fundraising events for our selected charities.
