Mary Frances studied Law at Queens University Belfast graduating in 1984. She commenced practice as a trainee solicitor with McCartan Turkington Breen and was admitted onto the roll of solicitors in Northern Ireland in 1986.
She joined Gerard McManus and formed McManus Kearney in January 1990. Gerry retired from practice in 2004 and Jason Byrne joined her in partnership in 2010. The firm merged with Shoosmiths in 2016 and Mary Frances is office head in Belfast.
Mary Frances has been a licensed Insolvency Practitioner since 1995 in Northern Ireland and is responsible for the firm’s relationships with secured lender clients, IPs and also provides advice to a wide range of private clients. She brings a wealth of experience and a pragmatic approach to her work combined with a depth of knowledge and is highly regarded by both clients and fellow practitioners.
