In a usual year, Shoosmiths and retail property consultants, Johnson Fellows, would be sponsoring the PMA’s annual conference in Manchester and enjoying the annual get-together with contacts from across the retail industry.
However, in light of government restrictions, this year's conference was instead replaced with an hour-long webinar at which representatives from Shoosmiths and Johnson Fellows talked around some of the pressing issues currently facing the retail sector.
These were:

- Valuing with no evidence and an update on the retail market
