The corporate restructuring and advisory team at UK law firm, Shoosmiths, has advised administrators, ReSolve, on the sale of menswear retailer T.M. Lewin, in a move which will protect the brand’s future.

ReSolve’s Lee Manning and Cameron Gunn were engaged to manage the restructuring process and agreed the sale of the online business of TM Lewin to a Torque Brands’ entity via a pre-pack administration.

The Shoosmiths’ team was led by partner Aaron Harlow, alongside partner Lee Sennett and senior associate Charlotte Doyle.

Aaron said: “We are delighted to have assisted in the rescue of this well known T.M. Lewin brand at a very difficult time for retailers.”

Shoosmiths’ restructuring team has worked on a number of high-profile retail administrations in recent weeks, including Oasis and Warehouse, Monsoon Accessorize, Oddbins, Cath Kidston and Axminster Carpets.
