The Private Equity team at UK law firm Shoosmiths has advised Five Arrows Principal Investments and Five Arrows Capital Partners (Five Arrows), the European and US private equity arms of Rothschild & Co.
The advice is in relation to Five Arrows’ significant new investment into Texthelp, a global leader in education technology, for an undisclosed sum.
Headquartered in Belfast, Texthelp is an international business that has supported 30 million students and employees across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Australasia with their reading, numeracy, writing and productivity challenges, and provided online learning products and tools during the COVID-19 pandemic that help to avoid learning loss and aid remote working.
The Shoosmiths team who advised on the investment comprised Amit Nayyar, lead partner; Claire Checketts, partner; Aleks Bosch, senior associate; Adam Frost, associate and George Peyton, trainee solicitor.
