Shoosmiths client Brunswick Property Partners launches near £1bn workspace portfolio venture

Shoosmiths client Brunswick Property Partners (BPP) has launched Akoya, an exciting workspace venture targeting a portfolio of at least £1bn.

The Shoosmiths team led, by partners David Morley and Matthew Kenwood, has been working with the BPP team since its first UK acquisition in 2017 and is their retained UK law firm, dealing with real estate portfolio acquisition, disposal and management work.

Shoosmiths has worked on all of the acquisitions and disposals since inception of the Akoya Structure.

David Morley said: “The BPP guys are fantastic and great clients to work with. They have a positive and progressive approach to portfolio building and property ownership and work closely with their tenant partners to ensure that their properties meet the demands and needs of commercial property occupiers today.

“The Akoya venture is an exciting step and we look forward to continuing our work with them on this and long into the future to help them deliver their vision.”
