Shoosmiths wins six at Allaboutlaw Awards

Law firm Shoosmiths swept the board at this year’s Allaboutlaw Awards after scooping a massive six honours in one night.

The awards recognise the very best law firms and their efforts in recruiting young lawyers, through vacation schemes and training contracts.

Shoosmiths won best overall vacation scheme; best vacation scheme – national firm; best social media; best company culture; best for growing confidence – vacation scheme; and best for level of support – vacation scheme.

Graduate recruitment manager Samantha Hope said: “We are so proud of winning all these awards and they represent a lot of good work that’s carried out across Shoosmiths as a whole. We’re always overwhelmed by the number of people who want to start their law career with Shoosmiths and this just emphasises that it really is a great firm to work for and with.”

Shoosmiths has won at least once for the past seven years – while this is the third consecutive year it has accepted the best social media award.

Judges said: “Shoosmiths has put significant effort into not just demystifying the law application process, but also – dare we say it – making it fun. Their social media is the perfect blend of informative Q & As, Monday Motivations and humanising “meet the trainee” profiles.”

Samantha added: “Our presence on social media is recognised and welcomed by students and graduates, many commenting that we are the only law firm engaging with aspiring solicitors in this way. All of this wouldn’t be possible if we didn’t have such a great programme to shout about in the first place, and that comes from every person in the firm.”

The application form for vacation placements and training contracts is now open, apply today to get your law career started on this award winning programme. https://www.apply4law.com/Shoosmiths/
