Andy has over 15 years’ experience in communications in politics and banking before private practice, his areas of expertise are corporate positioning, reputation management, strategic campaigns and writing. He has extensive experience in media relations and political relations and is a regular analyst on the BBC and STV, and in the press. He now works in strategic communications consultancy, Message Matters, which he co-founded.
Fraser Mitchell, Partner at Shoosmiths will chair the session. During the discussion, Andy will:
- Reflect on the current state of Scottish politics on the eve of the Holyrood elections
- Give his views on the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish economy in the face of COVID-19, Brexit, and growing support for Scottish independence
- Consider the key issues for the Scottish Government and industry to address in the context of Scotland’s future
