New appointments boost Shoosmiths banking team

The banking team at national law firm Shoosmiths continues to expand with two new members brought into its Manchester office.

Banking partner Liz Sweeney has joined the team from EOS Law LLP and before that, DLA Piper.

Liz has expertise in real estate finance, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, public to private transactions, restructurings, project finance and general corporate lending. She advises a comprehensive range of lenders and borrowers on a full range of bilateral and syndicated facilities as well as debt restructurings.

Liz is joined by banking associate Ruth Evans, who also joined from EOS Law and prior to that, DLA Piper.

The national banking team at Shoosmiths works across the UK and is led in the Manchester office by partner Graham Hall. He said: 'Liz and Ruth are great assets to the team in Manchester which strengthens our regional coverage in the North while at the same time enhancing our national team. Their expertise will add to our national reputation for delivering proactive, commercial advice to clients on their financial needs and achieving their business goals.'
