Think Offsite and Smart Digital Delivery – Building Live Club

The skills shortage and concerns about the build quality of new housing is driving a renewed interest in offsite construction. Getting to a place where the majority of construction work takes place in a factory requires a major industry shift. Offsite solutions are often more expensive than traditional construction, the cyclical nature of the industry makes investment in expensive factories risky, insurance companies and mortgage lenders are nervous about new and unproven construction techniques and current procurement rules make the adoption of offsite construction difficult. This conference will examine these challenges including the skills and ways of working needed to leverage the benefits of offsite, and whether recent institutional investor investments in modular herald a major shift towards this form of construction.

Cost: Early bird tickets £99 + VAT

Who should attend: Those working in or with an interest in offsite construction
