Birmingham colleague completes challenge to raise more than 2000 for the National Autistic Society

Paul White, a support analyst in our Birmingham office took part in a challenge with his young family on 29 September 2018 in order to raise funds for the National Autistic Society.

The charity exists to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people and so every pound raised really counts.

Birmingham colleague completes challenge to raise more than £2,000 for the National Autistic SocietyAs Paul explains ‘we completed a 3 km walk around Thomas Land. It was a lovely walk and the weather was very kind to us. Once we’d completed the walk we got free entry into Thomas Land which we all really enjoyed.

In the end we raised an amazing £2,060 for the National Autistic Society (£300 of this was donated directly to the charity by Shoosmiths). We’re absolutely chuffed with the amount we raised and we were top fundraisers by far.

This figure wouldn’t have been possible without the help from so many kind people. Thank you so much for your donations and generosity – we have been blown away by it.’
