On 28th September 2018, along with thousands of other organisations across the country, the Shoosmiths Leeds office hosted a Coffee Morning as part of Macmillan’s “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” fundraising event.
The tables were filled with amazing home-baked creations, including Cookie Monster cupcakes, Oreo truffles, and numerous chocolate brownies. The invitation was also extended to our neighbours in the Platform building, and guests joined staff to chat and enjoy something yummy for a great cause.
The CR committee would like to say a massive thank you to everybody that helped, baked, and donated cakes and other treats. Thank you also to our building managers, Bruntwood, for supporting and promoting the event.
The total raised for Macmillan was an impressive £283.20 (including gift aid contributions). Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support for those affected by cancer. To find out more about the work of Macmillan, please visit: https://www.macmillan.org.uk/
