On 6 February 2019 Anita Shepherd (Senior Associate, Family), Michael Swanick (Solicitor, Family), Katherine McNeill (Paralegal, Family), Lindsay Kirkby (PA, Family) and Alex Lawrie (Assistant Conveyancer, Conveyancing) attended St Anne’s RC High School in Manchester for a careers fair with their year 9 and 10 students.
The event consisted of a series of workshops where the students were provided with various different scenarios and asked to spot the legal issues which arose in each one. The students were also given a weird and wonderful legal facts quiz which prompted great debate There was also a Shoosmiths’ stand in the main hall where information was provided to the students about Shoosmiths and the different pathways into law.Disclaimer
