Measuring our responsible business performance

Shoosmiths is one of 94 organisations and 7 law firms to have recently completed Business in the Community’s Responsible Business Tracker®. It’s a measurement tool designed to help business assess its responsible business performance and is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (also known as the Global Goals). 

Shoosmiths had previously completed the survey in 2019 as one of a number of pioneer participants and so we wanted to track progress since then as well as benefit from quantitative feedback this time.

We were particularly pleased that on net zero carbon we scored above average compared to the participants including the law firm benchmark group but rest assured that does not make us complacent. We are considering the results of the survey to determine next steps and priorities for improvement.
