Hywel is a Senior Associate in the Commercial department, based in Milton Keynes.  Hywel has wide experience working on a variety of commercial matters working for both customers and suppliers. Hywel regularly advises on  agreements for the supply/purchase goods and services, IT agreements and logistics agreements, across a variety of sectors.  Hywel also advises clients in relation to preparing their Modern Slavery Act statements.

Hywel’s recent experience includes advising:

  • a Japanese-based global car manufacturer appointing a new, worldwide, marking agency partner;
  • a major hotel chain outsourcing the design and build of an entirely new website infrastructure;
  • a leading UK merchant bank on outsourcing its financial messaging service provider; and
  • a global commercial vehicle manufacturer on setting up a brand-new outsourced logistics and warehousing solution.

Prior to joining Shoosmiths in September 2015, Hywel read History at Durham University, before completing the GDL and LPC at BPP Cambridge.  Hywel qualified at Shoosmiths in September 2017.
