James is an Associate in the London real estate team and advises on all aspects of commercial property, including, acquisitions, disposals, lettings and development. James acts for landlords, tenants and developers in a variety of sectors and his recent experience includes:
- acting for major institutional landlords in relation to industrial, office and retail properties across the UK;
- acting for a healthcare client on acquisitions, sale and leasebacks and the development of medical centres; and
- acting on a joint venture for a 160k square metre development in Cheshire.
James completed his training contract and worked for a number of years at Nabarro LLP (now CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP) and joined Shoosmiths LLP in January 2018.
