With over 22 years experience in financial services, Jenny works in our Consumer Finance Litigation and Recoveries team, part of our leading national recoveries offering. Jenny acts for lending institutions providing mortgage litigation and rehabilitation services, specialising in defended/complex mortgage proceedings, professional negligence and rectification of title.

Jenny has a particular interest in cases involving vulnerable adults, especially those with mental health issues. Jenny is our vulnerable adults coordinator and has been instrumental in setting up the relevant policies and procedures within Shoosmiths and also in conjunction with clients. Jenny often gives external presentations and training on best practice in resolving disputes involving vulnerable adults and/ or individuals who have mental health issues.

Jenny sits on the Board of the Money Advice Liaison Group.

Having graduated with both an LLB (Hons) and LLM, Jenny undertook her training contract with Addleshaw Goddard and qualified in 1996 into the Banks and Building Societies Litigation department. Subsequently Jenny spent time with Yorkshire Building Society before joining HSBC Holdings plc in 2000 where she worked in the Group Legal Litigation department for seven years. In 2007, Jenny joined the Commercial Division of Nationwide Building Society before joining Shoosmiths in 2008.
