Julie is a real estate lawyer and specialises in acting for developers in relation to commercial and mixed developments and investors and household names in relation to portfolio and high value acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters including new lettings, variations and lease management. Julie also has expertise in advising financial institutions with regard to procuring and perfecting security over many types of commercial property including office, industrial, retail and late night entertainment sectors. Julie also undertakes property support to the corporate team in business sales and acquisitions.


Julie’s recent projects include:

•           acting for a developer in the acquisition of land for both strategic and immediate development, including conditional contracts, options and overage agreements;

•           acting for numerous household names in all aspects of lease management;

•           acting for a night club operator refinancing their portfolio of properties. 


Julie studied at Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Law School and joined Shoosmiths in 2015.
