Lisa is a Corporate Restructuring and Advisory professional support lawyer (PSL) based in the Manchester office.

Lisa joined Shoosmiths in June 2019. Prior to that she spent 11 years as a Restructuring PSL at DLA Piper, having first qualified as a Restructuring solicitor in 2001. As a solicitor, she mainly worked on transactional insolvency work dealing with administration appointments, sales, security reviews and advice in general to insolvency practitioners on transactional matters.

As a PSL, she worked as part of a team of three PSLs, all sharing equal responsibility for documents, training (both on particular topics and general current awareness training) and answering technical queries.

At Shoosmiths, Lisa will be working closely with the CR&A team to develop a meaningful PSL function for the section to include a maintained bank of precedents, a training program and to assist with technical queries raised by LAs. She will also liaise with PSLs from other sections to advise on the restructuring and insolvency aspects of their legal work.
