Nick is a commercial litigator who joined Shoosmiths in March 2019 from DAC Beachcroft LLP, having qualified in 2013.

Nick has a wide range of dispute resolution experience and in his previous role primarily focused on healthcare, IT and insurance litigation.

In respect of healthcare work, he has acted on several major disputes for leading NHS Foundation Trusts, often using the NHS Standard Contract; as well as standard Crown Commercial, LPP and other industry standard terms.

Nick has also advised in respect of high value procurement matters predominantly in the healthcare sector; having worked on high value procurement exercises for patient feeding, patient transport, waste and various medical IT projects; often acting for NHS Foundation Trusts, CCGs and/or their suppliers.

In terms of IT experience, this has primarily focused on implementation and licensing disputes involving patient administration systems, electronic patient record systems and healthcare analytics platforms.

Nick's insurance experience encompasses both coverage and liability, where he has advised on professional indemnity matters in the construction, IT and sports sector.
