Pam is a medical negligence solicitor with over 14 years' experience in advising people who have suffered injuries due to medical errors. Pam has experience in dealing with a wide range of cases, including orthopaedic injuries, gynaecological procedures affecting fertility and causing urological issues, stillbirths and delays in diagnosis.

She has recently advised in a fatal claim where the death was caused by negligent treatment resulting in septicaemia.  Although liability was subsequently admitted, the issue of damages in relation to the dependency claim was complex due the fact that the deceased was the special guardian of a young child at the time of her death.

Pam has also recently dealt with a claim involving the delay in diagnosis and treatment of a severe infection following spinal surgery, resulting in long term back pain and a case involving over a 6 year delay in diagnosing and treating ankylosing spondylitis in a child.

Pam completed the LPC at The College of Law in Birmingham and her training contract at Davies and Partners Solicitors, before qualifying in 2005.  She joined Challinors Solicitors in January 2012 and has been at Shoosmiths since August 2013. Outside of work, Pamela enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and going to the gym. She also holds a motorbike licence.
