Peter is assistant head of Knowledge Management at Shoosmiths.  His role involves supporting the head of Knowledge Management in the development and implementation of the firm’s knowledge management strategy, and acting as an advocate for knowledge management across the firm.

Peter had previously been a real estate professional support lawyer, working in three different firms over the past 25 years.  For the four years before taking on his current role in September 2019, Peter headed up the PSL team in Shoosmiths’ real estate division, comprising seven PSLs located in five offices in England and Scotland.  For a short time before joining Shoosmiths, he ran his own training organisation, Falco Legal Training Limited.

While a PSL, Peter was a founder member of the London Property Support Lawyers Group (LPSLG) and was instrumental in the production of the Commercial Property Standard Enquiries, which are now used routinely in all commercial property sale and letting transactions in England and Wales.  He is also a member of the Working Group that devised and now maintains the Model Commercial Lease and he acted as consultant editor of the most recent edition of Volume 87 of Halsbury’s Laws “Real Estate and Registration”.
