Rachel Beard is a professional support lawyer within the Real Estate Division.
Rachel supports the Real Estate Division by helping to keep the firm’s real estate lawyers up to date with the latest and upcoming developments in the sector and she assists in maintaining and updating precedent materials and know-how. Rachel also provides training and day to day support with technical legal issues.
Rachel joined Shoosmiths LLP as a trainee in 2011. During her training contract Rachel spent 6 months on secondment assisting an in-house team at a leading global brand. After completing her training contract at Shoosmiths LLP Rachel joined the Real Estate Division in 2013 on qualification. In 2016 Rachel was promoted to Senior Associate and in 2021 Rachel joined the Professional Support Lawyer team. Before moving to her current role Rachel gained a wide range of experience as a transactional lawyer acting for a variety of clients including investors, landlords, tenants and portfolio managers.
Rachel is a member of the Association of Property Support Lawyers.
