Raheel is a Paralegal in the Litigation Services Team within the Business Advisory Division dealing with matters ranging from straightforward low value undefended matters to more complex higher value, defended matters with a particular focus on Asset Finance. 

Raheel regularly acts for Finance Houses and Banks and his main work involves dealing with Recovery of Goods/Assets ranging from low value household items to higher value Goods such as sports cars, commercial goods and equipment. Raheel is experienced in the recovery of balances and shortfalls via the County Courts to obtain Judgments and utilises various methods of Enforcement such as Charging Orders and Attachment of Earnings.

Raheel has experience in dealing with matters in respect of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and is familiar with both Regulated and Unregulated Agreements. Other experience includes High Court Enforcement,  Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Disputes involving Innocent Purchaser claims under the Hire Purchase Act 1964, Title disputes and Conversion claims, Part 20 claims, claims against guarantors, Satisfactory Quality disputes, Time Orders, Complaints coordination, Negotiation, Collections and Mediation.

Raheel joined Shoosmiths in September 2016 having completed the Legal Practice Course with a Distinction and regularly volunteers for and participates in the Firm's Corporate Responsibility initiatives such as Pro Bono work and charity fund raising.
