Sarah is a paralegal with extensive experience in all aspects of employment law for employers and senior executives. Sarah has considerable employment tribunal litigation experience and confidently drafts pleadings, witness statements and written submissions for complex claims.
Sarah is also well-versed in non-contentious employment law. She regularly prepares advice for clients on the range of employment HR issues, including contractual terms, disciplinaries and grievances, discrimination, redundancy processes, restrictive covenants, TUPE, unfair dismissal and working time.
Sarah is a member of Shoosmiths' Financial Services and IR35 teams and has a strong working knowledge of both areas. Sarah regularly drafts bespoke IR35-compliant consultancy arrangements for clients in a variety of sectors, whether via personal service companies, agencies or umbrella companies, and can provide comprehensive advice on IR35 implementation and status determinations.
Sarah has frequent involvement with Shoosmiths' seminars and events and has provided client training on topics including diversity and inclusion.
