Our unsecured lending litigation and recoveries team works with banks, building societies, other consumer finance lenders and debt purchasers, dealing with recovery of unsecured lending products including loans, credit cards, overdrafts and guarantees.

Our approach is to work with you to agree strategies to engage with customers and seek settlement or to arrange affordable and sustainable payment arrangements.

We utilise all appropriate methods of communication, including letter suites, telephony, SMS and email to achieve contact with customers, also providing them with an online channel through which they can engage with us.

Where we are not able to achieve settlement or a payment arrangement, we use the county court bulk centre to issue claims and progress matters to judgment and enforcement, having worked with you to identify suitable and commercially viable enforcement methods.

Throughout the litigation process, we continue to interweave proactive telephony, and other communication methods to seek engagement with customers. The aim is to maximise your recoveries at the minimum cost, whilst always protecting your reputation.

We have the expertise and experience to deal with disputed and complex claims, with our defended teams sitting alongside our recoveries teams and able to provide immediate advice, often preventing the escalation of a matter to a full blown defence.

We are very aware of the regulatory climate within which we and our clients operate, and all our staff are fully trained and monitored to ensure full compliance with those regulatory requirements.

We have a dedicated compliance team that oversees and monitors our training, competence and compliance framework, and which can provide suitable MI, including TCF dashboards to support your own regulatory requirements.

We also work closely with clients to ensure we provide you with detailed management information bespoke to your requirements and priorities.
