Shoosmiths become corporate partners of the Institute of Legacy Management

National law firm Shoosmiths has become the newest corporate partner of the Institute of Legacy Management (ILM).

The ILM is the membership body for legacy professionals responsible for the administration of donors' final gifts to charitable organisations. Established in 1999, it provides a network of support and dedicated training services.

Shoosmiths' charities practice is headed by Angela Bowman, recognised as a leading expert in the charity legacy sector. Angela has acted for a large number of leading national charities in connection with contested legacy cases, including Cancer Research UK, RSPCA, British Heart Foundation, Kidney Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and Save the Children.
