Shoosmiths Leeds office support the Junior Chamber International Christmas Appeal

Junior Chamber International (JCI) recently asked for help to support its JCI Christmas Appeal, an initiative aiming to provide children who are less fortunate with the Christmas they deserve.

Co-ordinated by the Leeds Community Investment Programme Committee Shoosmiths colleagues donated 70 gifts to the appeal.

Shoosmiths Leeds office support the Junior Chamber International Christmas AppealThese presents will be added to the 6,000 other gifts that the JCI will be arranging various charities to collect for distribution to families and children in need this Christmas. As Lauren Midgley commented ‘Thanks to everyone’s generosity, there now will be lots more happy children and families on Christmas Day.’

JCI is a global, not-for-profit organisation for 18 to 40 year olds, run by its members for its members. JCI’s mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. JCI members are from many different backgrounds, cultures and professions, but all share common values and passion to develop themselves and support and improve their communities.
