Alex is a corporate lawyer who advises on a wide range of corporate matters, including private and public M&A, private equity transactions, venture capital investments, joint ventures and investment funds work. Much of his work involves acting for funds and companies in the technology sector. Prior to joining Shoosmiths, he worked at a leading international shipping law firm, gaining experience in energy, maritime and aviation law.
Recent highlights include:
- advising a foodtech company on a split debt/equity fundraise;
- advising an insurtech company on a series of fundraising rounds;
- acting for Clean Growth Fund on a number of investment rounds; and
- advising on an $80 million joint venture between two companies in the infrastructure space.
